1. Who We Are

Four Love Agency is a property marketplace connecting property owners/agents with people looking to buy, rent, or book short-stay accommodation. This policy explains what personal data we collect from Clients (buyers, renters, and guests) and Agents, and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and profile picture, provided when you register directly or via social login (Google, Facebook, Instagram, or Apple).
• Agent information: license/certification details, years of experience, bio, and commission structure, for users registering as agents.
• Listing & booking activity: properties you list, view, save, or enquire about; booking and tour requests; messages exchanged with agents or clients; reviews you submit.
• Tenant & lease information: where an agent manages a tenancy through the platform, we process the tenant's contact details, lease terms, and rent payment records on the agent's behalf.
• Payment information: when you pay via M-Pesa or Airtel Money, we process transaction references, phone numbers, and amounts through those providers' payment APIs. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN or full mobile money credentials.
• Usage & device data: pages visited, search filters, approximate location (e.g. city-level, for property search), IP address, browser/device type, and cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: create and maintain your account; let Clients search, enquire about, and book properties; let Agents list and manage properties, tenants, and bookings; process payments and commissions; send booking/tour/enquiry notifications by email, SMS, or in-app; respond to support requests; detect fraud and misuse; and meet our legal obligations.

4. Social Login

When you sign in with Google, Facebook, Instagram, or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We do not post to your social media accounts on your behalf. This information is used only to create or link your Four Love Agency account.

5. Payments

Mobile money payments are processed through Safaricom's M-Pesa (Daraja API) and Airtel Money. These providers process the payment directly; Four Love Agency receives confirmation of the transaction but does not handle or store your mobile money PIN. Agents who enable payment collection provide their own till/paybill or Airtel merchant details, which are stored so payments can be routed correctly.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: between a Client and the Agent(s) they enquire with or book through (e.g. contact details needed to arrange a tour or tenancy); with payment processors (M-Pesa/Airtel Money) to complete a transaction; with service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, email/SMS delivery); and when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your search preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.

8. Data Retention

We retain account, listing, booking, and payment records for as long as your account is active and afterward as needed to meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer required within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or dispute-resolution purposes (e.g. completed transactions).

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and object to certain uses of it. Contact us at support@fourloveagency.com to make a request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date below.
