This page is a general-purpose template describing how Four Love Agency's platform actually works. It is provided as a starting point, not legal advice — have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it, particularly the payment, commission, and liability sections.
By accessing or using Four Love Agency (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Kenyan law to register an account, list a property, or make a booking.
You may register as a Client (to search, enquire about, and book properties) or as an Agent (to list and manage properties). You may register via email or social login (Google, Facebook, Instagram, Apple). You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your login credentials, and all activity under your account.
Four Love Agency provides a marketplace that connects Clients and Agents. We are not a party to, and do not guarantee, any sale, tenancy, or booking agreement made between a Client and an Agent. We do not inspect, own, or manage the properties listed on the Platform, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the availability of any property, or the conduct of any Agent or Client.
Agents agree to: list only properties they are authorized to market; provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and availability; honor confirmed bookings and tours unless the Client agrees otherwise; disclose license or certification details truthfully; and comply with the commission structure and payment terms they configure on the Platform. Four Love Agency may verify, suspend, or remove listings or agent accounts that violate these Terms.
Booking and tour requests submitted through the Platform are offers subject to confirmation by the Agent. Cancellation and refund terms for bookings (particularly short-stay/BnB bookings) are set by the Agent for that listing unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
Where payments are made through the Platform (e.g. via M-Pesa or Airtel Money), you authorize us to facilitate that payment through the relevant mobile money provider. Agents are responsible for any commission or service fee owed to Four Love Agency under their agreed commission structure. Fees, once paid, are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with a property, Agent, or booking. Fake, incentivized, or defamatory reviews are prohibited and may be removed.
You agree not to: list or promote a property you are not authorized to market; misrepresent yourself, a property, or your credentials; circumvent the Platform to avoid fees; harass, defraud, or discriminate against other users; upload unlawful, infringing, or misleading content; or interfere with the security or normal operation of the Platform.
The Platform's design, branding, and software are owned by Four Love Agency. Content you upload (listing photos, descriptions, reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it on the Platform in connection with your listing or account.
The Platform is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Four Love Agency is not liable for disputes between Clients and Agents, the condition or legality of any listed property, or losses arising from a booking, tenancy, or payment made through the Platform.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya, without prejudice to any statutory dispute-resolution rights you may have.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
